8 Yaoi Games You Gotta Play!

Writer's picture: Emily MaineEmily Maine

Let's crank up the heat with some Yaoi games on Itch.io. We've got eight contenders stepping into the ring, and I'm gonna tell you which ones pack a punch. It’s been awhile since I’ve written for Boys Love Universe so I’m a little fired up. But I’m back and starting it up with some Yaoi Game recommendations!

8 Yaoi Game Recommendations

Damones Love Diary

Here's a drama-fest that's as sticky as molasses in July. Damone and Ian's love is on the rocks thanks to a past that won't stay buried. It's a rookie's first go at a game but it's worth the play. They're promising more, and I’m itching to see if they deliver.

Follower Count

Buckle up for a wild ride with gods and retro vibes. It's a Yaoi twist on the mythos that'll either make you a believer or leave you lost in the cosmos. It’s cheeky, it’s bizarre, and it’s oddly enthralling.

Witcharoo

This one throws you into a cauldron of quirky with a side of feline finesse. It’s a Halloween romp with choices and charm. Worth a peek if you're looking for a quick spell of fun.

NG: Cursed in Love!?

Hikaru's got the sight, but is the vision for this game 20/20? The demo's a peek into a supernatural slice-of-life that's got potential. It's whispering of bigger things to come, so keep an ear out.

Befriending the Scarily Cute Fisherman

A tale of dares and unexpected flares of the heart. It's a wholesome walk on the wild side with a splash of puzzle fun. For those who like their Yaoi with a touch of tenderness, this one's a catch.

Bleeding Moon

High society meets high stakes with a cross-dressing twist. Haru’s luxurious life gets a shake-up from a thief with a heart of gold. It’s a one-way ticket on a monster-slaying, curse-breaking express train. Strap in for the ride.

With Mirth in Funeral

Short, bittersweet, and to the point. A snapshot of a moment between Zoomer and Evil Batlet that's as murky as a smoke-filled room. It's a quick hit of angst and introspection for when you've got time to kill.

Boyband Hell

Last up, "Boyband Hell" delivers a pitch-perfect parody of boyband mania with a devilish twist. Trapped in a superfan's twisted game, it's part reality TV, part survival, and all riot. Tune in for the high notes and low blows.

So here are some Yaoi games that are a mix of fire, fluff, and sometimes just plain WTF. The love, the laughs, or the ludicrous, there's a game on this list that's gonna hit the right notes. So go on, give 'em a whirl, and let the games begin!
